Hello,

I was searching for a calendar like yours, but with no authentication required. By default, if user can have read/edit when he is connected to Dokuwiki.

I was seraching for any configuration in my settings but can't find a way to do that. And I was thinking that it was possible to use this plugin without external server.

Do you think it's possible ?

Configuration:

  • Release 2017-02-19b "Frusterick Manners"
  • PHP 5.6.30-0+deb8u1
  • Ubuntu Server 16.04

I don't really understand your question. What I've understood is that a user should have read/write access to a calendar when he's logged in to DokuWiki. This is the exact behaviour. Put simply:

  • one calendar per page
  • every calendar inherits the page's permissions
  • if you can edit a page, you can edit the calendar
  • if you can read a page, you can read the calendar
  • if you don't have permissions on the page, you don't have permissions on the calendar

There is no need for an external server (never was), davcal _provides_ a server you can sync with.
